Peter Michael, a 60 foot narrowboat can accommodate six to eight people
and, uniquely, can be divided into four separate cabins. The front cabin
affords scenic views over the low bow, and incorporates the dining and
lounge area. This features extensive seating, a fold-away gateleg table
and a large L-shaped settee which converts to a double berth.
Peter Michael's large galley plays host to the full
range of modern conveniences including a full size oven with four burner
hob and grill, refrigerator with frozen food compartment and stainless
steel sink and drainer. As usual, ample storage space is provided.
A freshwater flushing toilet and vanity basin are
housed in the second cabin which also contains two bunks. Further along,
the third cabin has two bunks and two large wardrobes. There is also a
side access to this cabin.
The shower room with the second flushing toilet and
basin separates the third and fourth cabins. In the fourth cabin is an
airing cupboard, a large wardrobe, table and L-shaped settee that
converts to another double berth.
For
warmth Peter Michael is centrally heated throughout with finrads from a
gas fired Alde boiler, and is carpeted in the front and middle cabin.
