Samuel James is a 63ft all steel narrowboat built
on a hull supplied by Colecraft and will house up to seven people in
luxury accommodation. The spacious fore cabin gives excellent views over
the bow from the dining area and lounge, which has two large settees and
a gateleg table.
An excellently equipped and roomy galley has a full
size oven with four burner hob and grill, refrigerator with freezer
compartment and sink and drainer. Mealtimes are easily catered for with
plenty of worktops and storage and a roof hatch opens for extra ventilation.
 A door leads through to a separate cabin with side
hatch, which houses a permanent double bed, large wardrobe, dressing
table and en suite bathroom with a bath, shower, vanity basin and
freshwater flushing toilet.
Further along, the next cabin has a single bed with
facilities to fit a bunk above if required. There is also a large
wardrobe, with shelves, drawers and a vanity unit as well as access to
the second toilet and a basin. In the rear cabin are a further two
single beds, with a facility for an extra full size bunk if required,
with two more large wardrobes, an airing cupboard and wet locker before
steps leading up to the rear deck.
As
expected Samuel James is carpeted and centrally heated throughout, with
a 240 volt electric supply through standard domestic three pin sockets.
