Kate Boats @ Stockton Top Marina

Up About Us Finance Services

We understand that shared Ownerships boats will require a range of possibilities in terms of the levels of management required

We could offer:

1. Self management

Bring it in each week, we would do gas, diesel, pump out. The onboard owner would do an engine check. Engine services could be booked beforehand, minor works requested, valet booked as required. Member of boatyard staff to attend part of self organised owners meeting to give information and advice, winter works specified by yourselves, quoted and then carried out by ourselves at the marina, or elsewhere if you preferred. You would deal with licensing, boat safety and administration in terms of bookings.

On the other extreme

2. Full management service.

The boat would have a valet each week, a minor engine service weekly - as with the hire boats, with full engine service carried out as hours require. A check through would be carried out each week, with minor repairs carried out on the spot and any larger issues scheduled. We would coordinate bookings with owners, and circulate available and unused weeks, organise and attend the owners meeting annually, providing recommendations for works, with full costing. Organise licensing, insurance and boat safety certification.

Or you could choose any level in between, we would be happy to negotiate a package that suits you as a group of owners.

Any level of management could be organised whether you moored with us, or elsewhere.

We would suggest that whatever the level of service and support required that emergency breakdown cover is through a subscription to RCR since provision of such a cover would be expensive to provide without the economies of scale that a large organisation provides.
