“Narrowboat Holiday”

My wife and I decided to take our daughter and her husband together with our son, partner and 2 year old grandchild on a family narrow boat holiday. Having previously taken a narrow boat holiday I chose Jenella specifically for its layout to suit our family, plus I wanted a semi traditional stern to better control our 2 year old grandchild. The office staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their boat and the various routes that I was considering taking. The booking procedure was made simple without any hassle whatsoever. Upon arrival at the boatyard we were shown where to park our vehicles and left plenty of time to load our belongings onto Jenella. A friendly person gave us the boat information, before we set off. Despite the weather being somewhat of a mixed bag of being both sunny and strong winds and rain we had a really enjoyable week. If there was a slight criticism, it was that the shower cubicle located for the stern cabin was fairly small, but luckily both my wife and I are small people and therefore managed. My son and son-in-law are a lot bigger than me and would not have been able to fit into that shower cubicle, however the forward shower cubicle was much bigger where they had no problem at all.
