“Peace and quiet away from the holiday hustle and bustle”
Having picked up a boat earlier in the year from their Warwick marina we decided to repeat the experience over Christmas and the New Year and take a two week cruise on the Dorothy Constance which is based at their Stockton Marina. The experience was one of the year’s highlights and will not be forgotten for a long time.
The company “Kate Boats” is wonderful to deal with and answered all our questions before and after booking, but it didn’t end there. They are so thorough that they take you through everything you need to know step by step to ensure you have a great holiday. The boat is set up for just two people but is of a size that you often find for four people sharing ensuring that you have a comfortable time during your holiday. The boat is well equipped with everything you need for your cruise and comes with fuel and gas included which is a big bonus. The rest of the holiday is up to you then. We chose to go towards Oxford through beautiful countryside before turning around and heading towards Milton Keynes. All in all it was a superb relaxing holiday with none of the pressures of modern day life that comes with being tied to the TV, telephone and internet.
The hand over at the end of the cruise was simplicity itself and just confirmed to us the reasons with going with Kate Boats. In fact we loved it so much we booked Dorothy Constance again just two days after getting home for our summer holiday in June. What more can I say but Thank You to all those at Kate Boats for making it a truly memorable Christmas holiday. See you all again very soon.
