Sometimes it’s obvious that you are looking at AI, but sometimes it is far more difficult.
If you asked Google about canal stoppages on the internet in the olden days it would point you to the Canal and River Trust website, where you could look at accurate information from the navigation authority.

Nowadays the AI results look at everything and give you the answer – whether it is correct or not. I have just asked Google about stoppages on the Grand Union. Apparently the section here is all locked up because we have no water. This is not true. There are timing restriction on some of the locks on the Grand Union, but there is lots of lovely cruising available.
We have got boats available from today, and all the way through into September, whether you are looking for a weekend, a midweek break, or a week or longer. You can do a weekend trip down to the Folly Pub on the South Oxford, turn around, through to Braunston, and then back again. You do the three Calcutt locks twice, out and back, no more locks, and get some very nice cruising.
