Hatton Flight

The Kate Boats Warwick base is adjacent to the Hatton Flight, just around the corner. 21 locks, lifting the boats 45 metres through the Warwickshire countryside. Competed in 1799, as part of moving freight through the country, and now over 200 years later providing a route for holiday makers.

Many customers fancy the trip to Stratford, a lovely trip, with a range of scenery, and a great way to visit Stratford upon Avon, but it must be a bit of a shock on that first afternoon, to those that have not done a lot of research, and find Hatton Flight rising in front of them.

My favourite view, looking down to Warwick, with the church in the distance.
